Pediatric Therapy Intensives provides physical therapy for children with a range of needs including Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Arthrogryposis, Spina Bifida and many other diagnosis that result in a delay in gross motor skills.

Our therapists work with children and their families to develop individualized treatment plans, taking into account the client’s physical needs, personality and goals. Some of the treatment options available include: Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Aquatic/Pool therapy, Theratog Training, Total Motion Release (TMR), Kinesiotaping, Partial Weight Bearing Support, and Toddler Treadmill Training.

At PTI, treatment frequency and duration are tailored to each child’s individual needs, as well. Traditional Therapy Schedules, with weekly sessions until a child has met all of their therapy goals, provide a framework for steady progress. Intensive Therapy Regimens, where therapy is provided 5 days per week for 3-5 weeks, are also available to promote rapid change in gross motor skills. Intensive regimens are particularly effective for those wishing to make a rapid change in one or two skill areas.
